Tintype photography reached peak popularity in the 1860s and 1870s. The style is so trendy. The original method for creating tintype photos is a wet collodion process. Making a tintype is hard. The chemicals can be deadly the process is extremely time sensitive. I really like how this photography came out. Something different.
